Topic- Farm Animals (Farm Barn Is So Much Fun)
On Wednesday, 11th January 2023, Mothers of Nursery A students were invited to the “Old MacDonalds Farm” at school.
Mothers were greeted at the entrance, with an entry ticket to the farm, in the form of a badge.
The ambience of the classroom was enlightened with the display of children’s work.
The day began with Dua, followed by the morning routine. Children recited the rhyme of Old Mc Donalds in front of their mothers. Various activities were kept in the class related to the theme such as:
Milking the cow
Solve the puzzle - Take the animal to its home.
Sorting activity – Using plastic animals.
Peg the duck – Number recognition.
Do-It-Yourself activity – Using active sand.
A Parental involvement activity was conducted with a tagline “Food Waste Is A Big No”, where an outline of the Farm was given and both the mother and child made their favourite farm animal using shapes.
The Dirasat Islamiyah teachers had a poster- making activity planned. Children coloured a long-necked duck, and then Maula TUS’s bayan was read out from a flash card prepared, and stuck on the poster.
Children were very happy to do all the activities with their mothers and enjoyed a fun-filled morning. The feedback from the parents motivates us teachers to keep the flag flying high at MSB Pune.
